it's guardian. Once defeated, you can advance to the treasure room. If
you are defeated you may re-obtain the quest from the Conservator to try
again. If you defeat the guardian, you can return to him to fulfill the
quest for the day before completing again tomorrow! The guardian will
return shortly after being defeated for other adventurers to attempt the
challenge.
