Mobs that have a deadly scream attack...like screaming skulls and boogiemen...are hard to defend against. I was thinking though, when I walked past the room description that talked about "Kinyon's Earplugs," that earplugs should help protect, at least partially, from scream attacks. The more magical the earplugs, the better the protection.
