Refusing to be physically followed or someone from physically giving an item to you makes sense, but to be able to refuse casts in the first place is totally stupid. I can understand resisting a cast, but to be able to refuse a cast entirely? Lame. Take Star Wars for example, people can't refuse a Jedi mind trick, but possibly resist it if they're powerful enough. Anyone and everyone should be able to cast on other players unless lawful, but I assume this will be changed to cater to one person
The fact that Mulva is allowed to use a char that was leveled to 30 by Delta amazes me. Characters played by a CT/DM should not be allowed to be given away or shared. Bane can I get a proxy to Johny??

Hiou is referencing the "refuse" command that has been around for a while (see <help refuse> in game). It was actually put in for non-pkilling related reasons. It was implemented to prevent non-combat, beneficial spells from being casting on individuals.
Specific to this situation, as far as enlarge/reduce goes, I consider them as neutral spells. I know they can be used for hindering movement in a pkilling sense, but this also makes it too easy for someone to troll unsuspecting, defenseless lowbies. I would rather see it kept on the refuse list.
No changes are ever done for the sake of one individual and usually implemented for the greater good. If you have any suggestions on how to improve this, feel free to PM me.
While there is a policy for not sharing characters that are watchers, I assume that Delta forfeited his characters after having them removed as watcher. And despite being staff, Delta was still a player, which gives him the same rights that any player may have. Which includes sharing his characters. This is an effect of making character sharing available regardless of what you think is right or wrong.
The only way to prevent people from playing characters they did not level would be to ban character sharing in general. This is was how it was on Isengard. There are pros and cons to either system ... just a matter of what you want.

Delta leveled most, if not all, of his characters before coming on as staff. After we hired him, all of his characters were bugged (every action logged) and having monitored those there was no interaction between his staff character and his original characters, directly or indirectly. (Not that I expect everyone will believe this, but it is what it is).
Johny however, has completely cheated stats and is 100% not-legit, so no, you can't have proxy access to him :P
If we ever get enough players and builders/coders on staff; I'd like to purge and in that case...who cares? Right now I look at this as an open beta and I need people of all levels to test everything.
I'm not saying Delta used his abilities to get ahead, but he did know where most of the high level spells were, and used that knowledge for the benefit of himself and others. That's all I am saying.
