Lvl 33 Bard, but cannot wear lvl 24 plate armor.

Points on armor seem kind of odd.

Weapons need training in order to become proficient with them.
Armor is something you just wear. Perhaps a lvl restriction such as 'known' would make more sense rather than a point based system.

Thank you sir.

I second this request. I do believe Bane is moving towards something of the sort or putting in trainers though.

I don't mind level requirements on armor, but having skill seems a little silly. What about mages that rarely take hits and have no chance to raise cloth armor skill? Or classes that primarily wear plate and won't ever raise their skills in chain/leather/cloth?
Usagi <27> Werewolf. Sexy furball.
Plu <40> Mage/Thief. Pickpocketing for justice.
Ulp <40> Cleric (Ares). Lifts a ton, but can't spell it.
Miko <40> Cleric/Assassin (Aramon). She uses teeth.
Nili <40> Cleric (Gradius). Bearded woman.

I think I'm going to move level requirement back to level instead of skill level and just move armor skills to "known".
