Any secrets on to how these work? Do I need a certain weapon to block or parry? My parry skill has gone up 8 times in 11 levels, and block has not gone up once! I do seem to riposte a lot, but block and parry won't raise.

I'm fairly certain these are skills that are "known" only and the skill level doesn't matter.

I should put in an option to just flag them as "Known" instead of having a skill level associated with them.
