Carpathia's Personal Storage Room

You are in your personal storage room.
The realtor's office has granted you this space in order to store excess
equipment. Since you have paid quite a bit for this room, you may keep it
indefinitely, and you may access it from any storage room shop in the
game. However, you may occasionally have to buy a new key, which you may
purchase in the main Office. The chest on the floor is for your use. It
will hold 100 items, including those of the same type. For now you may
only have one chest. The realtor's office will possibly offer more then
one chest at a future time. You will be informed when this occurs.
Obvious exits: out.
You see an embalmed dreadlord.
You see ten storage chests.

Highport Storage, Realty, and Taxation Office

You are in Highport's offices for storage, realty and taxation.
As Highport's population has grown, an influx of many adventurers
has prompted a need for a place to store things. It has also
started an initiative by the city council to provide deeds for
these individuals to open shops in and around the city in
various places zoned and surveyed to allow building. Of course
the 'benevolent' Highport City Council aren't doing this out of
the goodness of their hearts. They get 6% taxes on every sale!
Here you will find places to buy both deeds for shops, in
addition to private storage rooms and keys to get into them.
Obvious exits: out, storage area, backroom.
You see a Buyer's Sign.

Frizzet Street

Frizzet Street continues north and south.
Highport doesn't have city walls like most other cities. The city
planners decided that the natural defense of being on an island
was enough, and they didn't want to spend the time or money to
build massive city walls. Frizzet Street doesn't have a lot built
along it in the way of shops and city buildings. More are being
planned for the future, however, as Highport's population is growing.
Obvious exits: north, south, west.

I can understand that.

See, your storage room is accessible from multiple cities (ever notice that?). If you enter your storage room from Highport, then the out exit takes you back to Highport. If you enter your storage room from Gnomebarrow, then the out exit takes you back to Gnomebarrow.

Pets must just not be following the same logic as players for this. I should be able to fix it.

I've been told about the around the world access. Was also told after posting a quick fix to get the pet back is just log off and back on. Incase anyone else has the same problem in the mean time.

While we're on the topic of odd things with the storage room, this one is very minor ... but:

* You are allowed to share property with other characters.
** When using a shared storage room (which you do not own), it tells you that only the property owner can handle lore objects.
** I'm assuming the point is to prevent non-owners of the property from removing lore objects from the storage chests.

BUG: It will not allow you to handle objects that are in your inventory, and are lore, if you are in the storage room and you are not the owner. This should only be applied to items that are in the storage chests.

I came across this one while I was trying to rearrange my inventory to grab something else out of the chest (was too bulky). But it wouldn't let me remove my lore item from a bag because I wasn't the property owner.
Usagi <27> Werewolf. Sexy furball.
Plu <40> Mage/Thief. Pickpocketing for justice.
Ulp <40> Cleric (Ares). Lifts a ton, but can't spell it.
Miko <40> Cleric/Assassin (Aramon). She uses teeth.
Nili <40> Cleric (Gradius). Bearded woman.

Carpathia: pets will properly follow you out of a storage room, now.

Also, I cleared up the multiple-cursed-rings bug. You can wear your ring now.

Plu: that bug is a precaution, rather than a bug. A good-aligned player could use an evil-only lore object, get shocked, and drop it in the storage room. To prevent that, we prevent you from doing any with lore objects.

It is possible to loosen this restriction so that lore items in your inventory can still be moved to and from bags.
