my ring had darkness casted on it.

Hmm, I think I might know the cause of this. It'll take a little bet of testing to figure out. I don't think I'll have time until tomorrow afternoon to work on it.

I'll give you the ring back after I fix it. But be warned! The code won't be fixed until I push the new poison code, so watch for that post before trying to cast darkness on it and use it again.

I'll need to talk to you about this - I can't reproduce this bug.

if your wondering the process i did then let me explain. when enchanting darkness was put in, i went to get a darkmetal ring. about 2 days after, i xfer the ring to somebody(think it was elder) and they gave it to bandit to enchant darkness.. then it was given back to that someone and then to zerk. When i pulled out the ring yesterday the ring just shattered to the sunlight. i had it in my bag ever since i put it back on zerk.
