Just wondering, is there a way to convert from lawful to chaotic?

I remember before the purge, you had to pick your alignment as you reach lvl 10, whereas now you have to pick your alignment as you reach lvl 7.

Someone please correct me if I'm wrong, but before the purge, you picked alignment at lvl 10.
Since it's been changed to lvl 7, and a majority of my old characters are between lvl 7-8, they're stuck with lawful alignment.
Is there any possible way i can change my old chars' alignment from lawful to chaotic?

What characters? If they're still reasonably low level, then sure.

Shouldnt the purge have erased your chars?

characters i can think of off the bat:
cecil, lvl 8
syranox, lvl 8
saphire, was lvl 7 but i lvled her to 9
daisuki, lvl 7

and @Blink, we had the option to restore old characters.

Cecil, Syranox, Saphire, and Daisuki are now chaotic.
