Death sickness has been put in testing. Exp loss has tentatively been reduced to 2%.

Death sickness will last 2minutes * your current level and will only effect players higher than level 5. When you first die it starts with a strength of 100 and slowly ticks down to a strength of 0 at which point it wears off.

1) While sick there is a chance to vomit (strength/2)% on every pulse of effects (hmm, 15-20 seconds i think). When you vomit, approximately half of the time you will become disoriented and become stunned for 0-2 seconds.

2) When attacking there is a chance to cough (+1 attack delay) that is also based on the strength of the sickness. For both of these the chance gets much lower the longer the sickness has been in effect.

3) All ticking bonuses right now have been erased and a random 10sec increase in ticking (not all the time). This will be looked at and possibly scaled with the sickness strength.

You will receive 3 messages before your sickness finally wears off. You will first feel a little better, then feel better, and then be nearly recovered. These represent the strength falling below 75, 50 and 25 respectively.

We will be evaluating this and possibly tweaking it in the future. We want death to be discouraged but we don't want people quitting at high levels like they have in the past after a death. If you have any comments please post them here.
