Dexterity and Armor Class Saturday, October 20th, 2007 at 5:03 pm
I discovered today that dexterity had no effect on armor class for monks, wolves, lich, druids with barkskin, and vampires at night. I couldn't tell if this was an accident or intentional, but I've decided to change it.
Because you guys probably already knew this, there's a good chance people have made monks and knowingly picked bad dexterity. Additionally, I picture monks as martial-artists, so I've also decided that they will not be penalized for having bad dexterity. This only applies to monks.

Chuckle, I fixed but didnt post because I had to run quick this morning. I'm thinking I won't let monks restat because they aren't being penalized, since low dex won't hurt them. It's just giving an option of another monk build, one with lower AC.

dex·ter·i·ty
Skill and grace in physical movement, especially in the use of the hands; adroitness.
Why in the world would a werewolf need dexterity? Even their attack string is "Maim" "Shred" etc. It seems as though dexterity should not be one of their prime reqs, but rather a heedless abandon towards ripping things apart.
I appreciate the goal to improve weaponless classes AC, but I think dexterity is more like a graceful monk, and constitution is a werewolf; ie. thicker hide.
