I was also thinking that, with seasons now in, certain mobs would expand their "territory"

Like maybe a yeti (if those even exist) would occasionally wander off the mountains during winter.

OR....

You could make seasonal perms. Ones that maybe drop quest items or just have awsome stuff. This would also kind of tie into the idea of blocked passages.

So during winter the "yeti" would come from hiding and be made available to players to kill. But only during winter.

Maybe a water dragon or Asmodus (lol at me for reading redwall series) the snake would be made available during raining seasons.

Or a colossal sand giant during the hot summer times might be found in the deserts.

Fall I dunno... thats up to the more creative minds. Maybe a wood spirit of some sort? Dunno....

Anyway... These season specific perms or mobs would carry cool stuff. Good for economy and good for players!

Just some fun calander oriented stuff I was thinken about.

Character birthdays have been coded. You can type "age" to see when your birthday is. The birth year was calculated based on your time played - if you had logged 10 days playing time, your birth year would be (current year - 10 - base age for race). It looks like only Pacis has a birth year before the fall of Bordia :P

From now on, your character's age will be determined by the in-game calendar, not your time played.

It's not that creatuers should be harmed more during the summer with fire because.. It's just saying that it would be cool if the environmental conditions assisted the druid in his casting. Not anything to do with the area per say with your desert example.

Think of it more along the lines of camouflage: it's more effective in the forest. Fire, more effective in the summer. Just a neat idea. Nothing to do with what the mob is.

how about birthday command let you see who is celebrating a birthday that day?

A command to show who is having a birthday will be in on next reboot.
