Just an idea, that would probably be simple to impliment, and I think would make a great enhancement to the player shops is; add an option to set a description for items. Give it say a 30 character length limit.

This would be really hander for things like scrolls, holding items, trading items, wands, etc...

I disagree completely. I think it will be taken advantage of and used as an identify, and that's what bards are for.

i think what he miight mean, or if he doesnt mean what he should mean lol is that the player sets it manually..so if you dont know what it is, they dont know

Arcen has the idea: I meant that the shop owner would set the descriptions, not the mud. Bards would still be needed.
