Is it possible to change the spell Know-Aura to work similarly to infravision whereas it has a set minimum cast time which isn't specific to INT?

Currently Know-Aura cast length is 1 minutes for my character... which has to stay neutral... which makes it very hard to balance aura without being able to see the current mobs alignment... which is next to impossible since the spell only lasts a few seconds.

I understand that boosting INT would fix this... but adding 18 points to INT just for know-aura is kind of stupid.

Anyways I just figured I would bring it up... I am sure the other Gradius/Ares clerics and other align based classes would thank you as well if this were changed.

Bane was supposed to compensate for low INT characters by setting up alchemy, but I'm thinking this has been delayed due to real life business. Which totally happens to us all.

As for my Ares, she got lucky since she leveled before the changes to INT and cast duration went in. But even now, with low INT at level 40, her know-aura spell still lasts 20 minutes or something. Heat-protection, warmth, etc are still 50~ minutes. If that is any consolation ...

If anything, I would suggest low INT effects being reverted back to where they were, until alchemy is ready to be put in. Or else having 1 minute casts is very inconvenient. My F/T and werewolf both suffered from these issues as well. Which makes fly, d-i, etc. VERY annoying.

I think it'd be nifty if certain spells were lvl based like infravision. think know aura would be one of these. as for like fly and d-i and such a penalty of low time seems sufficent.
