This also happens with teleport, if you used up your daily teleports, and accidently cast it again, it still takes your 50 mp, even though you cant port. I believe its the same with scare, after you use you're daily scares, it will still take the mp and not cast.

I fixed silence and teleport, but I didn't see anything wrong with scare. Can you verify that it still subtracts MP when it's uncastable?

Think harm is maybe little bugged as well. last night used twice on mulva didn't use today that i can recall. but says i've been granted two alrdy.

There's a difference between casting the spell and failing and not being able to cast the spell because of daily restricts and still losing MP. This scenario seems fine.

Looks like it's specific to global cast - your protection spell doesn't override the global one, so it doesn't cost you MP, but it also doesn't tell you that.
