Treating it like a BETA is fine, but exploiting is out of control. Everyone does it in some form or fashion, including myself. People either bot xp, take advantage of gold glitches, bot skills, or have skills on their chars that no one else has or is allowed to have.

Feel free to offer some solutions to fix the problems. I fix them as made aware of them and as time allows.

If you have brilliant bot prevention code, by all means share it with us and we'll put it in!

Give us a list of bugs and we'll fix them as we can. Plu has been helping us but she's not always on either.

I've made a lot of suggestions. I have no problem with what you guys are doing, this is a hobby for you. The only problem I have is with relaxed rules on policy. Even I was tempted to exploit things because I knew there would be little to no consequences.

Like?

a biting, misting, aramon cleric/assassin.

LOL, this is exactly what I told Dom when u posted the first part...and you are incorrect. That particular char is TESTING vampirism, and would die in like 20 seconds if exposed to sunlight.

...who would be killed in sunlight, as Huk said, and is vulnerable to turn- and enthrall- undead. You were either well aware we were working on vampirism as an affliction or blissfully ignorant.

Why did you never bother to ask Miko why she had such powers or report that a player was possibly abusing a bug? Apparently this doesn't mean as much to you as you say it does because you could have done something about it when you first noticed it.

zzzzzzzzzzzz... how did this thread about perm treasures turn into "DISARONS BITCHING THREAD"? why must he always mention his stupid ass top list of chars and include himself? you might as well go jack off in the corner dude. move on, you've already done us all a favor by suiciding all your chars. now go play something that "takes skill" cause you're apparently that awesome. interesting how he always states that this game takes no skill and is so forgiving, yet he's always the one dieing on the recent updates...

When I asked about it you said you were done testing and you should remove it.

blah blah blah. I always die because I never carry hazies since there is no point. How many times did you idiots get caught botting? So shut the fuck up and learn to level legitimately. bitch.

Well, Disaron, you can be sure that if anybody else gets caught botting, by me at least, there will definitely be severe consequences. I have a dust-on-site policy for that crap now, for repeat offenders, and I will thrash a first-timer, take all of their gold, and throw them in jail. So THAT will not be a problem anymore.

Assuming i catch said botters.

We have this mud up for players now to HELP us make this place better, in addition to providing it to you for your entertainment, for free. That means your asses need to be at the keyboard, or you need to GTFO otherwise.

I'd like raids and instances implemented. I have a few ideas.

Basically a whole area that is mostly perms, that you have to fight through, in order to win a bigger treasure at the end.

It would mean that players had something to do other than run from perm to perm, could use all of their skills and unique abilities, and earn an amount of gold equal to their effort.

I say someone should make like, 4 or 5 dungeons, maybe a lvl 1-9, a 10-19, 20-29, and a 30-40. Filled with flavorful mobs and a boss at the end.

Honestly a great idea. Be like kesh or robbing the bank down in durgas. makes a long tough proccess for the end result being loot. just a thought for people out there building new areas. instead of taking the easy route and just one perm for mass loot. but still i believe golding is the best option if your hurting for gold any how takes time but make more in the end.
