I noticed that Seph's backstabs has gotten weaker. Did something get changed? Vigs are still the same and hasn't gotten any better with levels.

Also, I don't think Arsenal's pet are helping raise the skills magic.

I don't think anything has changed, but I suspect there was some rollback in the code. I mentioned this to Bane, but I haven't been on often enough to catch Dominus.

It seems that the code loaded now is one w/o a lot of the revisions I bugged Dom about. Probably just some mistake, so Ares aura restrictions are back, no XP is rewarded for stealing, etc.

Edit: I don't think any of those old changes should have affected normal backstabbing, unless you're doing it w/ berserk on. The bonus was changed, I believe.

Code rollback? That's weird. That would probably only happen if Bane updated the code on the linux box, as I haven't touch it in a while.

When you log on, you can see this:The copy of the mud on my test computer is the same version, so unless we forgot to update versions, it all should be in order...

Oh, odd! Well, it still does seem like changes somehow got reverted. Forgot to mention this one as well: I remember you changing C/A casting time to 4 second, which is back to it's original 5 at the moment (dunno if Seph even noticed this one). All these changes were put in around the same time, so ... no idea! All fairly minor problems though~ no rush!

Strangeness. It appears there isn't anything spectularly appealing about ares assassin. I seem to always chose the worst classes to level. RAGE!
