Correct me if I'm wrong, but starting armor is based on which starting armor class you're assigned with. And since werewolf armor is considered as "Cloth", they start with the cloth set.

Of course, because of class restrictions, we really aren't allowed to wear anything aside from a few pieces that are tagged as werewolf armor.

What an interesting find. You shouldn't even be allowed to wear all that stuff, haha.

I know I've posted about this a while ago, but it looks like we have a few more people playing wolves and I was wondering if this problem could be looked at. I personally didn't mind since I don't plan on leveling Usagi anymore, but this might be troubling for the new people that decide to play wolves ...

(191 H 45 M): The john hit you for 4 damage.
(187 H 45 M): You giggle inanely.
(187 H 45 M): You missed.
(187 H 45 M): You moan with pleasure.
The john hit you for 4 damage.
(183 H 45 M): You say, "see".
(183 H 45 M): You say, "missing these guys".
(183 H 45 M): The john parries your attack.
(183 H 45 M): The john hit you for 4 damage.
(179 H 45 M): You speak, "ridiculous".
(179 H 45 M): The john missed you.
(179 H 45 M): You ripped the john for 41 damage.
(179 H 45 M): The john missed you.
(179 H 45 M): You thrashed the john for 38 damage.
You killed the john.
You gain 15 experience for the death of the john.
The john was carrying: 34 gold coins.

I suspect it's a problem with barehand stuff since Plu exhibits the same problems when not wielding a weapon. A level 27 shouldn't have so much trouble hitting such a low leveled mob!

Bane coded the combat system, so he'll have to look at that, but I coded the newbie armor, so I'll remove it from monks and werewolves (as they get natural armor).
