Straying from Gradius Tuesday, March 11th, 2008 at 3:54 am
Through my prayers, Gradius has informed me that one of his dwarven priests, a cleric named Method, has strayed from His true path. Instead of enjoying the might of Gradius through mining, smithing, and killing the vile, he has joined a band of righteous do-gooders, the self-proclaimed, so-called Seekers of the Damned. If it is anyone who is damned, it is that dwarf!
However, Gradius does realize that young, overzealous dwarves do make mistakes. He has not ordered the immediate destruction of this dwarf; rather, all other dwarves should attempt to convert him and lead him back to the true path. Violence will be not used unless necessary at a later time.

LOL whatever! You need to thwack him on the head with a warhammer! That'll right his senses! No violence? WTF? That's SO not the Gradius way! Are YOU straying from the path? Towards CERIS maybe?
Either thwack him on the head with a hammer, or give him ale therapy! i.e. make him drink until he throws up, and then do it again, until he is set right in his ways!

Calling the Seekers of the Damned a "band of righteous do-gooders" is a sad labeling of the oldest adventuring guild in Derlith, and can only be explained as pure ignorance.
The Seekers was originally founded by TWO guildmasters, myself - Bodhi the Reborn, and Mekila the Dwarven Assassin. Doing "good" is not in our ethos, rather adventuring and seeking out the "damned" across this "realm of hell" is our motive.
Members of this ancient guild have arisen to unite in blade, claw, and magical weave, from many denominations and sects. Although it is led by myself, a Paladin of Lord Enoch, I aim to bring knowledge of this spoiled land together with the Seekers.
If you feel as though Gradius is lacking, by allowing Method to spread his word out under the open sky, and not "preaching to the choir" in some tunnel, then let Gradius hisself keep this good man down...not some blathering old priest who has agoraphobia.

Insulting Gradius's Chosen and most loyal priest is akin to insulting Gradius himself. The Seekers of the Damned would find it in their best interest to make peace and apologize before they are declared hostile by the dwarven clans and guilds of Derlith.

The Seekers did not speak these words. I, Bodhi spoke these words, hence I am alone responsible. Yet, I do not apologize to anyone who pronounces his or herself above others. I humbly strike down foes in the name of Lord Enoch. Yet, I do not claim to be one in the same as my God... For you to claim yourself the same as an immortal is fool's folly - chosen or no chosen - folly.
If you have quarrel with me, then strike me down as you see fit. But I make no aggression towards you or your nature. So, with unintended pun, cast the first "stone" if you must. But I have no quarrel with you, master dwarf.
Let those who adventure, venture free. You cannot enclose the entire world in one of your mines. I don't suggest trying.

Feeling inferior to a follower of Enoch, master Dwarf? Is it just your short stature that makes you so insecure or the fact that you wish you had been born another race and trained in the Holy way of Enoch? I find it a surprise that you can even get through a sentence without belching you drunken fool! Unless you, your church, and guild are working for the dark Lord Aramon, then I see no reason for your insecurities. I assure you though, if you are you will feel the full force of Enoch's Power.

It seems pointless to argue with a pair of goodly zealots. But let me ask, if Gradius had not created the earth that you now stand on, where would you be?
