I've adjusted weapon skills; individual skills are now "known" only and are based off of the base skill. Axes for example feed from "Chopping Weapons".

Initial skill has been set at the maximum of the sub categories. Brand new categories, when first learned, will now start at 1 skill instead of based on character level, however there are far fewer weapon skills to learn now. As such, there should no longer be any incentive to save weapon skills until level 40 to train them all.

Weapon restrictions will continue to be based on what skills are known, but profiency with them based on the base skill.
