Abandoned Hallway

This is a small and abandoned hallway.
This hallway is strangely dark and silent. The air is even
cooler than the air in the last room. The shadows appear to
have a life of their own. The smell of blood is strong here
even overpowering the smell of dust. The hallway leads to a
dark set of stairs leading down into an even darker hallway.
Obvious exits: south, down.

The Origin

You find yourself at the Origin.

This is the Origin of Life, a spiritual place where all living creatures
enter the world of Derlith. A magnificent door carved out of a single
piece of jade and decorated with the finest gems and metals leads to the
world beyond. The Book of Knowledge, an ancient tome some saw was written
by the gods themselves when they created Derlith, floats about the area.
An obsidian obelisk placed near the jade door has some information carved
on it regarding this world.

Luntari's Laboratory

Jars containing unrecognizable animal parts, suspended in cloudy
yellow liquid, fill one long shelf above his work table. Below
these house many other containers which are labled with what
contents they hold. Mixed smells of earth, dried herbs, dung,
dried flowers and fresh plant material permeates the air. The
floor here and there shows patches of charring as well as
staining. Luntari continues muttering and glancing back at his
book while mixing some components together.
